6/19: the discography cds are here! entitled "the bush years," it collects both demos, both 7"s, our split LP with bafabegiya, both split 7"s, and some comp tracks. put out by khabir at piss art records, they look awesome. due to the limited number we currently have, only available at shows.

1/2: in light of tons of our gear being stolen while ANS was borrowing it in october for their west coast tour, we're throwing a handful of benefit shows in january and february to help cover the costs of replacement. details will be posted on the shows page.

5/7: discography cd and tape-ography version should both be out by the end of summer. clint's mixtape of our friends' bands, all our old/other bands, and weird versions and covers of our songs should be out this summer as well. look for him on tour with genesis climber all over the u.s.

11/27: after being sidelined for a short while with debilitating broken collarbone and ribs, clint is back in action for our mini-tour

8/18: east coast tour dates are up. we're doing a whirlwind run through the northeast, ending in brooklyn on halloween. dan from surrender will graciously be filling in on second guitar on this tour, upping the beard quotient significantly. we haven't played back east in almost two years, so we hope to see some old friends and make some new ones. come say hi. ps the surrender split ep is sold out from us now, so you're gonna have to track it down through some distros. since we're out, as soon as i get a quality mp3 of it i'm gonna be putting our track, "baby teeth," up on the site in the media
section for free download.
6/18: oververt ruled. canada was a blast. thank you to each and every person who helped make our tour totally rad. maladie lp isn't here yet (thanks for losing our package, united) and we had to jump off the seasick tour, but we're still going. writing for a proper lp to be recorded and released whenever it's actually done. it's summer - go support a touring band.
4/5: so after a glorious lack of winter tour due to debilitating sickness, we're setting out on the road again, this time with our good friends from reno, oververt. check out the dates on our shows page.
in other news, the maladie lp is getting pressed. done in collaboration with our friends at great plains records and ethospine noise, this shit is awesome. get pumped.

9/27: i've finished a minor overhaul of the website - lots of busted links are fixed and our record and tape label pages are functional. we have the sadville split and surremder split available in the psr distro, as well as the surrender live at gilman tape. we both welcome and encourage trades...
6/19: the surrender split is finally done. all of you who bought the cassette version while we were on tour in april should expect your vinyl copies in the next week or two as we start getting them mailed out. thank you for your patience. ps they look awesome. clint's prog rock band is on tour all over north america this summer - be sure to check them out - genesis climber.
1/7: we're working on a split ep with our tour buddies surrender and moving forward on the sadville split as well. hopefully they'll both be coming out before our spring tour. april 4th to may 4th, midwest/mid- to west canada,and west coast. hella. tour dates are up. we also started a label to repress our own records, and now we're putting out shit by other people! with our friend jose at unholy thrash records, we present mohoram atta - santa cruz crusty hardcore. awesomeness. when the covers are all done, i'll have an image up in the new penguin suit records page.
11/18: many thanks to everyone who came out to our shows on tour, fed us, booked us, or let us sleep on their floor. special thanks to ghost mice for their grand canyon pass so we didn't have to pay to get in - nice! if you have any pictures of us playing, shoot me an email - i'd love to update the pictures on here, i just don't have any flicks to replace them with. we're going into the studio the first weekend in december to record for the sadville split at the atomic garden again.
10/10: fall tour dates are up for our eleven days in the southwest and mexico. we're still writing songs for the sadville split and our theoretical lp for the spring - we'll keep you posted. we'll be gone on tour, but if you're anywhere near northern california, be sure to come to gilman for this is not a fest on nov. 9th and 10th. check out the lineup here in the calendar section.
8/1: we've got our new 7" and the repress out, and we're heading into the studio soon to record for an upcoming split 7" with sadville from knoxville. it's coming out on inkblot records, check 'em out. we're going to be playing a bunch of shows in the next short while, so keep checking back for show listings.
5/18: so, our new 7" is coming out on bloodtown records, and we're also re-releasing our half of the bafabegiya split and "the sick lead the blind" EP as one LP. both records will be available on our upcoming northwest tour in a couple of weeks. one track from the new 7" is up on the bloodtown records website. it's called cellar door.
4/23: going into the studio next weekend to record the crown victoria e.p. check out jack's studio - he does some awesome work: the atomic garden. also, we're totally sold out of both our 7" and our split lp, so all of the songs are now available for free as mp3 downloads from our media section.
3/17: we've started booking our northwest tour - just a week up and back with our new second guitar player, kenny. we're aiming to have both our new e.p. out, titled "crown victoria," and a repress of the "when the sick lead the blind" 7" and our half of the bafabegiya split as an lp available by the time we leave. don't quote me on that.
1/17: we're still alive. we've added a second guitar player, and we're working on some new material for a theoretical new record. we're doing some touring this summer around the west coast - check back for dates as shows start coming together.
p.s. - if you hadn't heard, parallax broke up, and then bafabegiya did too. that sucks traveling crusty balls.

7/21: we moved. if you were planning on mailing a bomb, make sure to send it to the new house. oh yeah, we're doing shows there, too, so if you're a d.i.y. touring band with a hole in your schedule, hit us up and we'll see what we can do.

6/16: we're back! ...and we're leaving again. we had an awesome time, many thanks to the many folks who put us up, booked us shows, fed us, and took us to see awesome random shit. we had a blast. we're currently getting a 7" record pressed, which is a split with our good friends parallax from provo, utah. a two-week greater west coast tour is currently being booked for the end of july/beginning of august, so check back for locations of future shows.
4/6: current news - spring tour booking is going well, and we're leaving in about a week. nervous, excited, and stressed as fuck seem to be the best way to describe what i'm feeling right now. we're playing some really awesome shows with a ton of great bands, so if we're coming anywhere near you, say hello.
we also just released an e.p. on spacement. it's currently only available through us at shows, but we're going all over the u.s. in the next few weeks, so it'll hopefully end up in your local independent record store. when we get home from tour we're going to do the whole "actually getting it in stock at ebullition" thing, and spacement will get a bunch of copies when we play in the almighty land of soy milk and honey, reno nevada. there are 500 copies, and they're all on opaque yellow/translucent green (half-and-half split down the middle) vinyl. pirate's press is awesome.

2/1: tour rules all. endless thanks to endless amounts of people, especially bafabegiya. i miss the smell of reno in my van.
we're starting to plan our spring tour, which will focus mainly on the east coast. we'll be out for six weeks, and we'll have a new 7" on the road with us. craigums recorded it - he's a good dude. more info on the release and tour dates as i find out about it.
